  1. Established the Liver Transplant Program at the King Fahad National Guard Hospital, Riyadh in 1993.
  2. Established the Hepatobilairy Unit at King Saud University and King Khaled University Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  3. Reactivate and establish the Liver Transplant Program at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Riyadh Saudi Arabia in March 2001
  4. Start the living donor liver transplant program at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Riyadh Saudi Arabia in November 2002
  5. Professor of Surgery with active academic contribution for 15 years
  6. To date have personally performed more than 120 liver transplants.
  7. To date have personally performed more than 250 major hepatobiliary surgical procedures (liver resection, shunt surgery, biliary stricture, etc.).
  8. Have had more more than 45 articles published (nationally and internationally) and have given over 170 presentations.
