Hepatitis G virus is a newly
identified virus. It was found after people who had a
blood transfusion developed ‘post transfusion hepatitis’
which could not be identified as any known virus. |
Signs and Symptoms:

Abdominal pain,
Anorexia, Dark Urine, Fever, Hepatomegaly, Jaundice, Vomiting, Malaise.

Diagnosis:
Prevention:

Don't share Sharp edge item which might have blood on them
(for eg; needles, razor, knife, scissors)

Precaution has
to be taken for blood transfusion, organ donation, and
dialysis patients.
Treatment:

No Vaccine for
Hepatitis G currently available

Hepatitis G
does not cause any chronic Liver infection.
